WT Competition Rules & Interpretation (latest version). WT has indicated the German Open 2025 as Test

Event for the new WT Competition Rules.

The new competition rules to be tested include:

1. Refine Valid Points system: Implementation of a simplified scoring format using only 1, 2, and 3

points, eliminating technical points.

2. Remove IVR appeal for Head Kicks: Coaches will not be permitted to request IVR for head-point

decisions via PSS; instead, IVR for head kicks should be requested only by the center referee if

he/she initiates count.

3. Punch scoring with sensing gloves: Introduction of semi-automated scoring using sensing gloves,

with verification by judges.

4. Refine Gam-jeom Penalties: Application of penalties to additional actions, such as intentional

falling, and other conduct deemed unsportsmanlike.

5. Additional provisions as required.
